1. Information we may collect

  • Contact and identity information, such as your name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, city/state and other details you choose to provide.
  • Consultation information, including the information, documents, layouts, names, dates of birth, questions and context you provide so that we can deliver Personal Consultation, Name Guidance or Residential Vastu Remedy Consultation.
  • Practitioner application and membership information, including practice stage, areas of practice, sourcing needs, membership status, tier, qualifying NMV, order history and support-case usage.
  • Remedy Support case information. An authorised practitioner may submit limited information about a client, including the client’s full name, date of birth, primary concern and relevant practitioner findings. We do not ask practitioners to submit the client’s phone number, email address or home address for Remedy Support.
  • Order and transaction information, including products ordered, NMV, shipping details, payment status, refunds/replacements and tax/accounting records where applicable.
  • Communications with us through WhatsApp, phone, email, Google Forms or other channels.
  • Basic technical information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser/device information, server logs and essential cookie/session information. We will update this policy before enabling any additional analytics or advertising tools that materially change the data collected.

2. Why we use personal data

  • To respond to enquiries and help you choose the relevant service or programme.
  • To deliver consultations, reports, explanation calls, implementation support and related communications.
  • To review Practitioner Programme applications, activate and administer memberships, calculate tiers/renewals and provide member benefits.
  • To review Remedy Support cases and return our response to the submitting practitioner.
  • To process orders, shipping, replacements, refunds and customer support.
  • To maintain business, tax, accounting, security and fraud-prevention records.
  • To improve our website, services, workflows and customer experience using information that is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
  • To comply with applicable law, lawful requests and dispute-resolution obligations.

3. Practitioner-submitted client information

When a practitioner submits a Remedy Support case, the practitioner is responsible for confirming that they are authorised to share the client’s information with Remedy Studio for that limited purpose. We use that information to analyse the case and respond to the practitioner. We do not use Remedy Support client details to market directly to, solicit, or take over the practitioner’s client relationship.

Your client remains your client.

4. Children and young persons

Some services, such as Name Guidance, may involve information relating to a child. Where personal data about a child is provided, the person providing it must be the parent/legal guardian or otherwise be properly authorised by the parent/legal guardian. Practitioner applicants must be at least 18 years old.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • service providers that help us host, communicate, store information, process forms, fulfil orders, process payments or operate the business (for example Hostinger, Google services and WhatsApp/Meta where those services are used);
  • professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, legal advisers or consultants where appropriate;
  • government, regulatory, law-enforcement or judicial authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law; and
  • a successor or acquirer in connection with a genuine business reorganisation, merger or transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

6. Third-party services and international processing

Some tools we use may process or store information on infrastructure located outside your state or outside India, subject to their own terms and applicable law. We select service providers for legitimate business needs and take reasonable steps to limit the information shared to what is necessary.

7. Cookies and analytics

The website may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for security, navigation and basic functionality. As of this policy version, no external analytics provider is intentionally connected to the site. If we later enable analytics, advertising or non-essential tracking, we will update the policy and implement any consent choices required by applicable law.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for the duration of an active service/membership relationship, to resolve disputes, and to meet legal, tax, accounting or record-keeping requirements. We may retain some records for longer where the law requires it or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we aim to delete it, anonymise it or securely restrict access to it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send unnecessary sensitive or confidential information through forms or messages.

10. Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law and verification, you may contact us to request access to information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where appropriate, withdrawal of consent for future processing based on consent, or to raise a privacy grievance. We may retain information where we have a lawful reason or legal obligation to do so.

Marketing messages, if any, will include a reasonable way to opt out. Service, transaction and membership communications may still be sent where necessary to provide what you requested.

11. Reviews and testimonials

We publish reviews/testimonials only where we have an appropriate basis to do so. Some feedback displayed on Remedy Studio may have originally been shared with Box2Joy, the founders’ earlier practice. Where used, we aim to preserve the original wording and disclose the legacy source transparently rather than presenting it as though it was originally written for Remedy Studio.

12. Links to other services

Our website may link to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google Forms or payment/booking services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review them before providing information directly to those services.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted at the URL above with an updated date. Where a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will take any additional steps required by applicable law.
